Sussex Makers Market
We’re excited to share that Thula & Bloom will be joining the Sussex Makers Market at Alexandra Park in Hastings on 5 July and 6 September.
Sussex Makers Market is a wonderful celebration of handmade treasures and creative talent across East and West Sussex, bringing together local artisans, makers and independent brands in a vibrant market setting.
Thula & Bloom will be there with our small-batch self-care collection, including magnesium wellbeing essentials, botanical skincare, bath and body products, candles and thoughtful gifts for everyday calm and comfort.

Candle Workshops
Discover the magic of candle-making in our relaxed, hands-on workshops — no experience needed. Whether you join on your own or book as a group, you’ll be guided step by step to create your own beautifully scented natural coconut or soy candles.
All materials and equipment are provided, so all you need to bring is your curiosity and creativity. Our workshops are fun, interactive, and the perfect way to unwind, connect, and make something truly unique.
We offer private bookings on request - ideal for hen parties, birthdays, team-building events, or social get-togethers.
We can even come to you.

About Our Candle Workshops
Thula & Bloom candle-making workshops are relaxed, hands-on sessions designed to be informative, enjoyable and confidence-boosting — whether you’re completely new to candle making or simply curious about the process.
Workshops can be hosted in your home or chosen venue for birthdays, celebrations or private gatherings, or you can join one of our scheduled sessions at St Faith’s Community Centre in Maidstone.
Our private workshops are intentionally kept small and intimate, typically welcoming 5–10 people, allowing plenty of individual guidance, questions, and time to enjoy the process., and we are always happy to discuss bespoke requirements. Our public workshops host up to 30 people.
What You’ll Learn
During the workshop, you’ll be guided through the art and science of candle making in a calm, friendly setting. Topics include:
Essential equipment for candle making
Choosing the right container for your candle
The full process of making a container candle from scratch
Each session lasts up to two hours, balancing practical, hands-on making with useful knowledge you can apply at home.

Workshops are £30 per person.
To book, simply select your preferred date and time via our booking calendar, or contact us by email to arrange a private or bespoke group workshop. Once booked, you’ll receive an email confirmation with all the details.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please get in touch as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help. However, for public workshops, refunds cannot be accommodated if cancelled within 48 hours prior to the event.
