About Our Candle Workshops
Thula & Bloom candle-making workshops are relaxed, hands-on sessions designed to be informative, enjoyable and confidence-boosting — whether you’re completely new to candle making or simply curious about the process.
Workshops can be hosted in your home or chosen venue for birthdays, celebrations or private gatherings, or you can join one of our scheduled sessions at St Faith’s Community Centre in Maidstone.
Our private workshops are intentionally kept small and intimate, typically welcoming 5–10 people, allowing plenty of individual guidance, questions, and time to enjoy the process., and we are always happy to discuss bespoke requirements. Our public workshops host up to 30 people.
What You’ll Learn
During the workshop, you’ll be guided through the art and science of candle making in a calm, friendly setting. Topics include:

Choosing the right container for your candle
The full process of making a container candle from scratch
Each session lasts up to two hours, balancing practical, hands-on making with useful knowledge you can apply at home.

Workshops are £30 per person.
To book, simply select your preferred date and time via our booking calendar, or contact us by email to arrange a private or bespoke group workshop. Once booked, you’ll receive an email confirmation with all the details.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please get in touch as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help. However, for public workshops, refunds cannot be accommodated if cancelled within 48 hours prior to the event.
